Other Major Expenses

Some of the major expenses with regards to the design, testing, production, and business outlook include:

  • Non-Provisional Utility Patent = $6000 - $10000

  • Injection Molding + First Production Set = $8000 - $10000

This brings our total budget to an approximate $18,000

It is important to note that while TCNJ Senior Project Groups have had a collective budgetary cutback due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, The Vortex: Green Engineering Team is lucky enough to be fully funded via the winnings of the TCNJ Mayo Business Plan Competition. The team and those associated are grateful for the monetary situation and recognized the increased difficulty of running senior projects provided the current global, economic climate.
